Movies For The Month Of March...

So Im going to drop this down to 5 movies because really I am losing time to go watch them all.

1.) The Princess Bride
Based on William Goldman's novel of the same name, The Princess Bride is staged as a book read by grandfather to his ill grandson . More than a simpering love story, including but not limited to fencing, fighting, torture, death, true love, giants, and pirates. One of the best Classics out there.

2.) The Labyrinth
Young Sarah is left home alone by her parents and she has to babysit her little brother Toby. But the baby keeps crying and Sarah, while telling him a story to make him sleep, inadvertently conjures from a fantasy world the Goblin King who steals the child and brings him to his castle in the middle of a labyrinth. Sarah has to rescue him before midnight, or the baby will became a goblin...

3.) Sabrina
Just watch it you'll love it.

4.) Wait Until Dark

5.) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

Makeup/cleaning your face...

I decided to write this because I have been watching way to many tutorial's on youtube ab0ut what products to buy and how to apply makeup and I thought why not blog about it since I have no idea how to make video's with my camera yet. So hope that this is useful to you, or at least entertaining.

I like to wash my face when I get up in the mornings with three different products while Im in the shower. The first is St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and if you do end up using the I suggest just using it once or twice a week since your dead skin doesn't come back that quickly. I gently rub this around the areas that are really starting to peal and it takes off all the dead skin. This may be a harsh product for some people since I find that it is slightly rough on the face. If you find it to be the same way you should look for a product that doesn't leave your face feeling like it has been man handled. You can play around with different products to see which one works best for you, but make sure that your not allergic to the ingredients in the product before you try it. You don't want to wake up with red splotches all over your face do you?
The next thing that I use is Clean&Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub. Now if you use this it has the beads in it to exfoliate your skin so you don't have to use an exfoliate before it, but you can if you are like me and you really really want that dead skin gone. This product ends up making my face feel fresh and clean and has a cold tingly feeling once your done using it. As I stated before make sure your not allergic before using.
The last thing that I use is Oily Skin Foaming Facial Wash from CO Bigelow, which you should be able to find still at Bath and Body Works if not then I think that it is out of stock but you can find a different version of it at their Website. I use this because I get really oily skin when Im out running around all day, so I need something that will keep it away longer and this helps a lot.
Sometimes I may switch out the above product with LUXIVA Foaming Cleanser Normal/Oily. You should be able to pick this up at you locale Merle Norman, and they have different types for if you have dry skin to normal skin.

Elizabeth Taylor...

I was shocked and horrified a few days ago when I had heard that the lovely Elizabeth Taylor had died. Not only has the world lost and iconic star and beauty, but it has lost a wonderfully lovely person too. My favorite role that she did was when she was in Grease. I am a huge lover of that movie and will now watch it and think of her even more.
The members of the Westboro Baptist Church need to shut up and show some respect for the dead. Ok we get that you don't agree with what she was doing but there is a thing as going to far with what you are saying and just making asses out of yourselves. Stop being rude and leave the grieving family alone. How would you like it if someone decided to go to your family members funeral saying that you were all going to hell and ruining your last chances to pay respects? Grow up and start acting like adults and leave everyone else alone. Worry about yourselves first.
"According to new reports, Elizabeth Taylor’s death troubled actress Zsa Zsa Gabor so much that she was hospitalized with high blood pressure." That was very suprising to hear for me as was hearing that she was getting her leg amputated. I think that Zsa Zsa just needs to take it easy and try to live a healthy life.

Lindsay Lohan...

An ET writer wrote this recently about the Lindsay Lohan scandal:

"Lindsay Lohan appeared in a Los Angeles court March 10 and rejected a plea offer that would have guaranteed her time behind bars.

The embattled actress chose to take her chances by delaying her case until a preliminary hearing with prosecutors and Judge Stephanie Sautner on April 22.

Judge Keith L. Schwartz granted the troubled star a chance to still accept a deal by March 25, where she would appear in court and can plead guilty or no contest and reportedly be sentenced to a possible 3 months in jail.

In the case that Lindsay stands trial, she could face a stiffer penalty for violating her probation stemming from her 2007 drunken driving case. Lindsay is being accused of felony theft by a Venice, CA, jewelry store for stealing a $2,500 necklace which took place in January during her probationary period."

I think that they should just throw her ass in jail already. Shes acting like she is above the law and is showing no respect for the judge or the courts. Shes acting like an entitled princess and she needs to know that she is not the queen of the world and that she is just like everyone else and she shouldn't get special treatment. If Martha Stewart can do time so can Lindsay. She stole a necklace and correct me if Im wrong but this isn't the first thing she has stolen. She does drugs and drinks way too much, so how can she be a positive role model anymore, let alone a contributing member to society? I say she needs to get locked up, because clearly rehab is not working for her.

Victoria Beckham...

My most favorite starlet at the moment is of course the fabulous Victoria Beckham. Not only does she have a gorgeous husband and beautiful children but she can sing and she has her own clothing line. What I wouldn't give to be in her shoes right now. I don't know if I told you this already but I have recently gotten my hair cut really short in kind of the pob style. For those of you who do not know what the pob is yet, it is the posh bob that was recently made popular again by Victoria Beckham. Rumor has it that most salons do three pobs a day. Well, Im kinda of going with the Beckham madness with a slight twist. Normally the pob has a sweeping bang in the front, while mine has shorter bangs instead. I thought that I should shake things up a little. Anyway, now that I have rediscovered how beautiful Victoria is, I have been wanting to steal some makeup ideas for myself. The one that I thought was the best at capturing Victorias full look is by Total Beauty Tv. The other one that I thought did a pretty good job was by FashionFace.tv. So if you want to try the Victoria Beckham look at some point in the near future, these links are the best to use.
Not only did I look up makeup though, when it comes to Victoria. I looked up her clothing line as well. Check it out if you would like.

Charlie Sheen....

You knew I would go there eventually. He is the most talked about star right now, and I don't know if that is good or bad. Before I go into talking about this I wanted to post at least one of the latest interviews in case you haven't seen it yet.

Without further ado, my ranting may start now. So I am actually really worried about Charlie Sheen and how his life is going right now. It seems like he has taken so many different drugs that his brain is now wired to think differently. During that interview, while I was watching I was thinking 'normally you wouldn't say half the stuff that is coming out of his mouth.' He says that he is too smart to take certain types of blends because thats how people go down, but if he was really that smart he wouldn't have started drugs at all or at least not gotten his show canceled over them. They say that if you are on meth for about a two years, if you don't quit you have three years left of living. This makes me wonder how long Charlie has to live, because we all know he has done a lot of different drugs that probably don't mix. I really hope that he is and will stay clean. He actually used to be one of my favorite actors of all time, Im now just waiting for him to get back to normal.

Also one more thing, I want to know what people think of the fraze Winning. Think its a nice catch fraze or wish you could stop hearing it already? Let me know.

Michelle Phan....

If you have not heard of this makeup goddess yet get your but on youtube and watch her videos. Now I know some of you probably like the natural look thats in right now, but at some point you know you are going to be putting on makeup and she is the girl you should turn too. Not only does she give makeup advice and tips she also shows you different treatments for you face and home made acne washes. If you go to her Channel on youtube it has the new uploaded video plus all the older ones on the side bar in case you want to go back to remember how that look goes. Michelle Phan is also the spokesperson for Lancome Cosmetics which is a brand that prides itself on natural products. I have yet to try it since I think it is only sold online right now, but I have tried most of the treatments that Michelle Phan has made up that are also some of the cosmetics that Lancome sells. Lancome also sells specialized brushes and travel packs in case you go on a trip but don't want to take all your make up with you.

On the note of brushes, I wanted to say that Michelle's video on how to clean brushes actually worked rather well. I not only used the dish soap and olive oil on my makeup brushes but also on my paint brushes and they were as good as new when I was done with them. It was a lot cheaper than buying the makeup remover or cleaner for the brushes and I already had the items I needed laying around the house!

Books for the Month of March...

Heres another list of books that I think are good, and have just discovered this month.

4.) Glass House- Rachel Caine

5.) Maximum Ride- James Patterson
Max and the Flock, children with wings, have run away from the School, the lab complex where they spent the first part of their lives locked in cages and experimented on. After four years, their hiding place has been discovered and Angel, the youngest, is captured. The others must get her back and find answers to their own questions along the way.

Raise Your Glass....

I have always loved the singer Pink, and think that her music sends a good message to girls everywhere. From the song Stupid Girls to Fucking Perfect, you get the clear message that you should just be who you are and not try to fit in with anyone else, because they aren't you and you are beautiful. I have recently started believing that too, so I've kind of decided to shed my old skin and become a new, happier me. I say why the hell let the rest of the world try to bring me down and tell me how to be? I'm going to be happy just being me. I have started this transformation not only by starting this blog but by getting a really really really short hair cut. Whether its a hair cut or new makeup I suggest that everyone does something that makes them happy and shows that they are beautiful how they are. Be a dirty little freak, and tell the world who cares! Just be yourself and have fun, don't let anything get you down this week. If you start to feel bad turn on the song Raise Your Glass by Pink and Im sure that will cheer you up. It works for me. Just play it in the car or around the house, sing along and dance and get yourself feeling happy again. Don't let the world define who you are. Its your choice of who you want to be, no one else can make that choice for you.

What Do You Get When...

You have UTI, your period, strep throat, a sprained knee, a fever, puking, and an allergic reaction to some medicine? Two ER trips and a wasted weekends. I haved been slightly out of it for the whole entire weekend because of these things and now I feel sad to come out of this stupor and realize how much study time and time that I could have used to apply for jobs is wasted. This all could have been much better if my doctor had actually charted the medicene he gave me (he said he did but I doubt it) because I was so out of it I had no idea what UTI medicene I was taking.
Anyway, I have midterms this week and now I have only 3 days to study for them. If I wasn't so weak I would hit something. I hope that I can actually make it to school, because today is the first day that I haven't had a fever. If I keep my fever down and gone I can go but if not my midterms are going to end badly. Wish me luck.

Devil May Cry.....

So I had bought Devil May Cry 1-3 around Christmas and just hadn't gotten around to playing them, but last night I pulled out the first one and was addicted. I played for at least 5 hours straight and Im still not bored with it. Every time I defeat a mission it gets harder and harder. So far I've gotten B and C rank on everything, that way when I beat the game I can go back through and try to get S rank. I hear that if you get S rank all the way through the game you unlock different characters that you can play as and different levels of difficulty. Now I only find one problem with this game, and thats at the beginning I had no idea what I was doing and had to use a walkthrough. The very first mission I had no idea that I was supposed to hit the thing on the wall and I just kept running around trying to find what I was missing. Finally I couldn't take it anymore and I found a walkthrough that helped me. This is the Best walkthrough ever, at least in my opinion. So overall I am loving this game but still not done with it, so I'll probably give you an update when I finish it.
